CAMP-OUT AT THE LAKE 3 ACRES Camp SITE
Permission Slip
· NO Lifeguard Instructors will be able to chaperon any Junior Lifeguards.
· JGs / Chaperon must supply all of own equipment to camp out. Tents only Please.
· We will be camping at the Upper Lake on the West SIDE at the 3 ACRES Camp SITE
· We ask that all campers please clean the area thoroughly as to not risk the chance of not being allowed to return on future dates. It’s just plain courtesy.
· This will be a Large Group and we are asking to limit the number of people per family. IE please don’t invite Friends that are not in the Junior Lifeguard Program. This is for Families that are in this session.
· This campout is a privilege for the program.
· We have reserved the site Camping on June 26th @ 5:00pm to June 27th till 10:00am. At which time all parties must be out of the site
· Camp only in the assigned area of 3 Acres
· Bathrooms Don’t have showers
There are BBQ Areas for Coal Cooking, or you can Bring your own stove to cook on
· Running water is on site for Cleaning (Bring own Drinking water)
· All area rules of Castaic Lake and regulations shall be observed.
· All vehicles must park in paved lots.
· No electrical hookups
· All activities must cease by 10 p.m.
· All toilets, hand wash facilities, drinking fountains, etc., shall be maintained in a clean and sanitary condition. Wastewater shall not be deposited on the ground. The facilities, including the grounds must be cleaned daily and all trash and refuse shall be deposited in designated containers.
· The facility shall be cleaned up at the end of this activity.
· PARK GATES ARE LOCKED FROM SUNDOWN TO SUNRISE. 8pm Gates will be locked to get in. Paradise Cove Gate will be an exit only gate all night.
· Entry is Free for our group for the night, however launch fees are not included.
What you might want to bring:
Tent, chairs, sleeping bags, food to cook or not cook, shoes for a hike, towels, sweatshirts, pants, and any other items you need for camping. Don’t forget that it gets cold when the sun goes down!!!
Tentative Agenda:
5-7pm Set-up Camp Sites and dinner time
7pm Group Hike to the Upper Cliffs!
8pm Group CAMP FIRE!!!
10pm Quiet Time
