2019 Regionals @ Carpinteria City Beach 
All JGs that have competed in our Intra Lake Competitions are able to compete in the California Surf Life Saving Association CSLSA – REGIONAL Competition this Friday July 26. 
You must have won at least one an event or placed in the top 3 for 2 events. - NOT including Relays to be able to sign up.

​DEAR JG Parents,
We are excited to offer you American Red Cross Blended Learning training. Blended learning combines online learning with on-site skills sessions where you will practice skills and demonstrate competency.  Please plan to complete the online lessons of your training BEFORE August 8th, 2:00 pm. Please follow the registration process outlined below to gain access to the online portion:  

1. Click here https://classes.redcross.org/R/class000000007959704/05280LACA.
   • If it does not open from clicking on it, copy and paste it into your browser
   • If you do not already have an account, you will need to create one – click the “New User” link and complete the information for the account – please make note of your username and password for future access to the online content.
2. The next step will be to click “Confirm.”
3. You will be asked to select a Payment You will be asked to select a Payment. From the drop-down menu, select Credit Card as the method of payment.  Enter your credit card information and click “Submit”. 
   • If you have been provided with a coupon code, enter it in the field title “Coupon Code”. Valid coupon codes will automatically adjust the final registration fee.
4. You are now enrolled. You may launch the content immediately by clicking the “Go To My Enrollments” button, then click the “Launch” link next to the appropriate course. Or, you may log in at a later time.
5. To log in at a later time:
   1. Click http://classes.redcross.org
   2. Enter your username and password.
   3. Go to the “My Learning” tab and the “My Enrollments” page will be displayed.
   4. Select the “Launch” link for the appropriate course to view and take the content.

Last Week of 1st Session reminders!
 
Monday:  9am - 2pm 
Parents Day -9am - 10:30 am  Come and join your JG for the Morning Workout- This will include morning line up and the morning workout, "Ins and Outs" (Short runs around cones with short swims around buoys) Please bring the Parent Workout Waiver or fill one out when you get here!  
 
Tuesday BEACH DAY 7:30am - 3:30pm  Get Bus Return time with the REMIND Text Message -   We will be going to Ventura State Beach 
 
Wednesday: 9am - 2pm
Regular Day 
 
Thursday: 9am - 2pm Last Day FUN ALL DAY LONG!
 
Awards Night starts at 6:30pm with the “Macho” Event – ¼ Run around the lake with a 400 yard swim across the lake. – See waiver to participate – Same as Parent Workout.
Anyone that is 18 and older is welcome to join us for the “Macho”
Once the “Macho” event is over we will have the Family Paddle Race. Get the whole family, make some new friends and create a paddle relay team of 6.
Once the water events are over we will be having Hot Dogs, Awards, and Slideshow.
Make sure to bring a something to sit on and we will see you Thursday NIGHT.
